David Munshine serves as one of Graham-Pelton's vice presidents and leads the firm's professional associations practice group. David has spent the majority of his career working with nonprofit boards and volunteers, conducting feasibility and planning studies, managing capital campaigns, and designing and directing annual funds. David's clients include institutions of higher education, community-based and healthcare organizations, arts and cultural groups, and professional associations.
David joined Graham-Pelton with consulting experience gained from his work with another firm after having served as the director of development and executive director of the Theta Delta Chi Educational Foundation. In these capacities, David spearheaded tri-entity strategic planning and board development initiatives, doubled the annual fund, and raised endowments for scholarships, student housing, and leadership training.
Earlier in his career, David was associate director of Search for a Cure, which provided patient education and advocacy services to individuals with HIV/AIDS. David coordinated a nationwide campaign which resulted in FDA approval of a Phase III trial of the Salk HIV-1 Immunogen, which at the time was the largest domestic trial of a therapeutic AIDS vaccine.
David received a bachelor's degree in public administration from John Jay College of Criminal Justice.
