Susan Stover serves as a senior vice president of Graham-Pelton Consulting and is leader of the firm’s independent schools practice group. Susan’s development experience encompasses the areas of capital campaign management, major gifts fundraising, annual fund campaigns, and feasibility studies, as well as donor cultivation and stewardship, special events, volunteer recruitment and management, and strategic planning.
Prior to joining Graham-Pelton, Susan served as director of External Affairs at Gill St. Bernard’s School, where she was responsible for the school’s overall advancement program. During her tenure at Gill St. Bernard’s, the school completed two successful capital campaigns and increased annual giving an average of 15 percent per year over five years.
Susan served as a Trustee of the Council for Advancement and Support of Education, District II from 1994 to 2003 and as Chairman of the District Board from 1999 to 2001. She has also served as Director of the Ausable Club Preservation Foundation, St. Huberts, NY.
Susan holds a bachelor’s degree in sociology from Lake Forest College.
