Richmond, VA, June 1, 2009 — Bridget Murphy, senior vice president and
managing director for Graham-Pelton Consulting, presented the Association for
Healthcare Philanthropy (AHP) - Mid-Atlantic Region’s Award of Excellence to
Jill Kyle, vice president of fund development for Abington
Memorial Hospital in Abington, Pennsylvania.

Graham-Pelton
established the award last year to recognize an individual professional in the
region who provides exemplary service and extraordinary leadership in the field
of healthcare development.
In
presenting the award, Murphy commended Kyle’s dedication and commitment to the
profession. Murphy said if there is one word that best describes Kyle’s
contribution to fundraising, it is tenacity. “This was the word most often
cited by the individuals from Abington Memorial Hospital who nominated Jill,”
Murphy said, “and it is a reflection of her tireless fundraising efforts on
behalf of the hospital. We congratulate
Jill on her outstanding achievements and on the many relationships she has built.
